FW: Scottie Band All-District Band Results

The Glasgow Scottie Band Program has been involved in the 2009-2010 Third District All-District Band for the past 2 weekends. The audition process consists of students auditioning against students from approximately 40 other middle and high schools in South Central Kentucky. A BIG congratulations should go out to all of the students who made the extra effort to go and audition. AND, after the results came out, the Glasgow Scottie Band Program was very well represented, placing more students in the All-District band than any year for quite some time, with 44 students receiving honors. We had more 7th and 8th grade students than any other school in the district, and overall, 9 of our students earned the DISTINGUISHED HONORS OF 1st Chair in the DISTRICT!
