Our Contest Itinerary

7:30AM—FRESHMEN & 8th GRADERS prepare band seating @ GHS
12:00PM—ALL STUDENTS ARRIVE…short meeting to finalize schedule
2:00 – 6:00PM—BAND HOSTS report 1 hour prior to band arrival…
All Band Hosts should still be reporting for clean-up duty before the arrival of your band. If you are not Hosting or Cleaning, you are to be moving about the campus, answering any questions there may be or watching the other bands perform. There will be seating around to the back side of the field. No one is allowed to “hang out” in the band room.
2:00 – 7:40PM—See Clean-UP Schedule on Back of Itinerary…make sure to sign the sign-in sheet.
4:00PM—Pit Pups Arrive & meet chaperone in band room…go watch bands
7:45PM—ALL STUDENTS REPORT TO BAND ROOM TO CHANGE INTO UNIFORM / LOAD PIT EQUIPMENT & PROPS / WARM-UP
9:30PM—HOST BAND PERFORMANCE…Glasgow High School
9:45PM—Awards Ceremony…awards presenters report to the track
10:00PM—CLEAN-UP PROCESS BEGINS…see below
AT THE END OF THE CONTEST
ALL SOPHOMORES, JUNIORS AND SENIORS GET TRASH BAGS AND GLOVES FOR THE FINAL CLEAN UP.
ALL FRESHMEN & 8th GRADERS NEED TO REPORT TO MR. CAMBRON AT THE TRACK TO TAKE DOWN THE CHAIRS.
NO ONE LEAVES OR GOES TO HOSPITALITY ROOM UNTIL AFTER MR.BONDS GIVES THE OK…ONCE EVERYTHING IS CLEARED, WE WILL ALL REPORT TO GHS CAFETERIA FOR A LITTLE GROCERY TIME…FOOD! FOOD! FOOD!
